I have a Creative Zen player and up until now have usually used Tesco.com to download music. It’s suddenly unavailable all the time and seems to have become unreliable from what I read elsewhere. I would like another site which has a good selection of music across genres/decades and which I can download from the Netherlands where I live. I’d like to continue using Windows Media Player to manage my music so that’s a consideration too.
Hi,
Take a look at http://www.mp3obsession.com/
The site reviews and compares music download sites, all of which are legal, safe and cheap. Songs are 5¢ each on the cheapest site, 15¢ on the most expensive.
Each site offers a different number of tracks, so take a look at the comparison table to find the best site for you.
If you need help, or want to ask anything, please feel free to email me and I can give you a hand. Good luck
What website should I go for cheap music downloads for a mp3 player that doesnt suport subscription files. Dont give me one of those free ones or limewire. It has to be legal. For me cheap is under $0.50 per song

Good luck, hope that helps.
Anyone know where I can get free and legal music downloads?
Or do I just have to use itunes and pay?
myspace.
that’s about it as far as free and legal goes.
I want to download music from the internet, but I want it to be legal. Where can a download a program that lets me do that? I’m afraid of the legal penalties of downloading illegallly.
Pay for the music. Use services like iTunes, Rhapsody, Zune Marketplace, Yahoo Music, Wal-Mart, or other reputable sites
You can legally download any music or anything else you want from this site http://world-biggest-legal-download.blogspot.com/ you need to be a member, but you can try it for 2 weeks for free
anyone know a site where i can get FREE and LEGAL music downloads
without having to input a lot of info like my address and all that
personal stuff???
The absolute best website where you don’t have to input any personal info or download any software is www.mp3raid.com. Just make sure that you listen to the song first and after you click download right click on download the song and click save as. Also make sure it is in mp3 format if it isn’t type .mp3 right after the file name and voila! I have used it hundreds of times to burn cds and add to my ipod touch. works fantastic.

I was just on a site that told me that even sites that say they are legal can get me in trouble because of music sharing methods and having music that is copyrighted. I just want a site that is totally legal, completely free, and doesn’t require any kind of payment plan (like emusic does). Is that too much to ask? I just want music! Someone help!
www.groundzeroprojects.com
Completely free downloadable MP3 dJ mixes, with all sorts of styles and genres.
Not individual tracks though, but loads of good music on there!

If so, what is it? Thank you.
*C* — so you can only temporarily get that music on your iPod with Napster To Go? I don’t quite get how this works…
There are 3 services I know of, Rhapsody, Napster, and the Zune Pass. All of them let you download an unlimited number of songs each month as long as you are a subscriber. However, I don’t believe any of those services are compatible with any of the iPod players. There are a bunch of players they will work with easily, with the exception of the Zune Pass which works only with the Zune. You’d have to check Rhapsody and Napster’s websites to make sure, but I don’t think the drm they use on their songs is iPod compatible.
